A wife who is so easy to live with, so easy to love, quick to forgive, quick to laugh, who listens to my grumbling without complaint, who keeps my life organized and frees me to be more involved than I should be. Not everyone has a spouse who makes life easier and better and few can say that marriage has been relatively, with fewer arguments than years of marriage, but I can and I am grateful. I don’t say it nearly enough, but Sandy is an incredible blessing in my life and she should be at least 500 of my 1000 blessings.

472. Negotiating Seattle traffic, detours, road construction and finding myself not where I was trying to be, only to find out the on-ramp to the freeway I’m trying to get on is right in front of me!
473. A chance for dinner out with my sister and nephew.
474. Coming home after a week away.
475. A visit from longtime, distant friends, even if it is short, and seeing our friend, who endured some very difficult times, happy in her new stage of life!
476. A good day in Mix Park with Gifts of Hope Fair Trade, making some good sales, and talking to people about Fair Trade merchandise.
477. A group of very different churches coming together as one body, for worship in the park.
