Blessings #952 to 999

952.  All the things from upstairs, that had been packed away for months, being delivered to our home, so life can return to some sense of normal. 
953.  A night of sharing, fun and bonding with the Niños team
954.  Being able to have people over for dinner again!
955.  Trees falling on our home - it didn't seem like a blessing when it first happened, but, sometimes, that is how blessings work. I've learned much through the process of recovery.
956.  A hike with friends.
957.  A Generation Alive fundraiser at school that exceeded expectations.
958.  Watching 130 eighth grades packing 15,000 meals for the food bank.
959.  The healing of scarred relationships.
960.  Pouring myself out into things that fill me up.
961.  Hugs from Calli
962.  A student who owns his mistake and apologizes without hesitation.
963.  A paper airplane fight on the bus.
964.  A simple "thank you," that is unmistakably sincere. 
965.  Colby’s graduation from Whitworth and seeing the value of a college that values faith and service
966.  Good family, who values family
967.  The knowledge that God does not give up on me, or turn his back on me, or lose patience with me (like I do with others), even when I drift away from him and do not pursue him.
968.  Love Does.
969.  Switchfoot
970.  Flowers in the garden that remind me of my Dad
971.  Geocaching with Colby
972.  Calli’s graduation from high school
973.  Celebrating life events with family
974.  The right words, the right stories, the right lyrics of a song, all speaking together at the right time
975.  Hard decisions that are right
976.  A phone call from Mick, about something trivial, that turns into something much better
977.  The ability to be generous with money
978.  Blueberries forming, beans blooming, raspberries turning red
979.  Getting lost on a hike with Colby and discovering the ability to not stress about being late for a meeting
980.  Better things becoming clear in my mind and making their way to my heart
981.  People who have the unique ability to be real
982.  A hard decision, not between right and wrong, but between okay and something better
983.  An understanding son and daughter
984.  A week at Niños de Mexico, made even better by sharing it with Sandy and Calli
985.  Children with hope, who at one time in their lives, must have felt like they had none
986.  An unexpectedly bad migraine that made my eyes blurry, but my heart focused
987.  A worship service in another language 
988.  Meeting the twin girls that we sponsor at Niños de Mexico
989.  Juan & Jackie
990.  Steve & Janet
991.  The chance to work, to do more than expected, to finish what we started
992.  The Niños blog
993.  A visit from Chad
994.  Finding a conscientious roofer, that turns out to have connections to former students
995.  Organized books
996.  A reply to an email that I thought Had been forgotten, from the caretakers of my Uncle's grave at  the American Cemetery in the Netherlands
997.  A son and daughter who understand the value of working hard
998.  Living in a small town
999.  Old notebooks full of thoughts, reminding me how I, and things around me, have changed and how I, and things around me have not
